Cross Country, Track & Field (1974-78)
Tom Wysocki was an NCAA Division I All-America selection in both cross country (1977) and track (1978). A graduate of Western High School in Las Vegas where he won the state title in the two-mile run, he was the West Coast Athletic Conference individual cross country champion in 1976 and 1977 and finished 10th in the 1977 NCAA Cross Country championships. After graduation, Wysocki continued running at the world class level and qualified twice for the U.S. Olympic Trials. In 1980, he qualified for the Summer Olympics in Moscow as an alternate on the U.S. Olympic team in the 10,000 meters but did not attend the games due to the United States’ boycott. He went on to work in real estate in California.
