1994 Baseball Team
Won the Big West Conference championship with a 16-5 league record…made the first NCAA Regional appearance in school history…turned in a 41-15 overall record, which is tied for second for most wins in program history…one of just three teams in school history to win 40 games…roster featured two first-team All-Big West selections in All-American short stop Mark Lewis and DH Mike Schroeder as well as five second-team all-league honorees…two individuals from the team have been inducted in Nevada’s Hall of Fame in Lewis and Andy Dominique…team was coached by Gary Powers and assistants John Savage and Jay Minsker…is just the fourth team and the first baseball team in school history to be inducted into the Nevada Athletics Hall of Fame.
