Women’s Basketball, Softball & Volleyball (1977-80)
Three-sport star who was instrumental in the development of Nevada’s women’s sports in the post-Title IX era… helped lead Nevada to three Northern California Intercollegiate Athletic Association titles in 1976-77 (volleyball, women’s basketball & softball)… set the single season basketball scoring record with 399 points in 1979-80 (since broken)… also held the top two single season marks for assists (57 in 1979-80 and 48 in 1977-78)… finished her career as Nevada’s career record holder for free throw percentage (.801) and assists (82)… set the record for most steals in a game at the Great Alaska Shootout… led the team in scoring in 20 of 31 games in 1979-80… helped lead the Wolf Pack basketball team to AIAW Regionals in 1976 & 1977 and the softball team to AIAW Regionals in 1976, 1977 and 1980 as well as the AIAW Small College Nationals in 1980… also helped volleyball qualify for the AIAW Regionals and Small College Nationals in 1976… was the first person at her high school to receive an athletics scholarship… became an assistant coach on the women’s basketball team after finishing her career.
