Rifle (2002-05)
Earned All-America honors seven times in his career (all four years in air rifle and three years in smallbore)…won the NCAA individual championship in air rifle in 2002…became a member of the U.S. National team in 2003 and was a medalist at six consecutive U.S. National Championships…two-time U.S. Nationals champion…won the 2005 Munich World Cup and Beijing Olympic Quota Place…served as a volunteer assistant for the Wolf Pack for six years while earning his master’s degree in psychology…began pursuing his Ph.D. in cognitive and brain science at Nevada…worked as a graduate teaching assistant and a research assistant in the memory and brain lab and cognitive neuroscience lab at Nevada…is in his fourth season as head rifle coach at the Ohio State University where he led the Buckeyes to the WIRC championship in 2012-13 and fourth and third place finishes in the Patriot Rifle Conference in 2014 and 2015, respectively…is the first rifle individual to be inducted into the Nevada Athletics Hall of Fame.
