Football (1991-93)
Bryan Reeves led the team in receptions his junior and senior seasons. He caught 81 passes for 1,115 yards and 10 touchdown his junior season (1992) and caught 91 passes for 1,362 yards and 17 touchdowns his senior season (1993). An undrafted free agent, Reeves signed with Arizona Cardinals in 1994 and played with the Cardinals in 1994-95, catching 20 passes. Known for his flamboyant play and his impromptu “first down” signal he would flash after a key catch-often infuriating officials and opponents. Reeves nonetheless was considered one of the Wolf Pack’s team leaders by Coach CHris Ault. The Carson, Calif., native’s name appears in the Nevada record book 23 times.

“Bryan is one of my favorites,” Ault said. “Of all the receivers we’ve had go through here, and we’ve had some great ones, this guy was probably mentally the toughest we ever had at the position, and physically, he was probably the equal to our best athlete at the position, Alex Van Dyke. Bryan ran back kickoffs for us, played wingback and did everything we asked of him. He loved playing football, and his personality showed that."
