Bernard Ellison was a three-time All-Big Sky Conference selection as a defensive back (1987-88, 90) and earned Kodak All-American first team honors in 1988 and 1990. He was a fifth-round draft selection by the Kansas City Chiefs in 1990. A member of Nevada’s All-Century Team, he earned an extra year of eligibility due to an Achilles tendon injury in 1988, forcing him to miss the 1989 season. The Milpitas, Calif., native was a two-time captain for the Wolf Pack.
