Track & Field (1999-2002)
Earned first-team All-America in the pole vault in 2002…was a four-time conference champion in the pole vault (Big West outdoor in 2000 and WAC indoor and outdoor in 2001 and WAC outdoor in 2002)…set the school record with a vault of 13’ 3 ¾ ” in 2002…helped the Wolf Pack to the Big West outdoor track championship in 2000 and second-place finishes at the WAC championships in 2001 and 2002…three-time academic all-conference selection…U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic selection in 2000…was the state of Nevada winner for the 2002 NCAA Woman of the Year award…was active in campus and community service volunteer activities…won Nevada’s Ruth Russell Award as the Wolf Pack’s top senior student-athlete as well as the WAC’s Stan Bates Award as the conference’s top female scholar-athlete in 2002…qualified for the 2000 Olympic Trials…has gone on to a career in coaching and is currently an assistant track and field coach at Cal Poly.
