Was named the WAC Freshman of the Year in 2011… named second-team All-WAC in 2012 and honorable-mention in 2014… four-year starter and two-time team captain… became just the second player in FBS history to reach 9,000 yards passing and 3,000 yards rushing in a career, joining Nevada alumni Colin Kaepernick… broke the program record for career completions while improving to second in career total offense ... broke the MW record for most 100-yard rushing games by a QB… invited to play in the 90th annual East-West Shrine Game on Jan. 17 ... one of 10 finalists for the 2014 Senior CLASS Award... completed 225-of-376 passes for 2,374 yards and 18 touchdown passes as a senior... at the end of the regular season, ranks third amongst active FBS players in career total offense with 12,968 yards... ranked third in the MW in total offense per game (280.9)... had a breakout sophomore season, running for 1,121 yards and 12 touchdowns and throwing for 2,786 yards and 20 scores... total offense of 3,907 yards marked the fourth-best single-season total in school history ... His 246 completions ranked sixth-best in school history... was 10th in the nation and led the Mountain West in total offense at 325.58 yards per game... took over the starting job in week five and led the Wolf Pack to five straight wins in October and November as a redshirt freshman... completed more than 68 percent of his passes for 1,707 yards and six touchdowns with five interceptions... was third on the team in rushing with 694 yards and led the team with 11 rushing touchdown ... finished second in the WAC in touchdowns and passing efficiency, four in total offense, seventh in rushing… went undrafted but spent a brief time on the Oakland Raiders' practice squad… has gone onto a successful career in the Canadian Football League with the Toronto Argonauts (2015-17), the BC Lions (2018), the Saskatchewan Roughriders (2019-22) and the Montreal Alouettes (2023-present)… won Grey Cup Championship with Argonauts in 2017 and the Alouettes in 2023… was the Grey Cup Most Valuable Player in 2023 and led the league in completion percentage… earned All-Star honors and led the league in passing yards in 2019.
