Ken Sinofsky was a three-sport athlete at Nevada in the late 1940s. He played guard and linebacker on the Wolf Pack football team, earning honorable mention All-America honors in 1948. He led the 1948 Wolf Pack baseball team in hitting as a shortstop. Sinofsky was drafted in the 28th round (260th overall) by the Los Angeles Rams in the 1948 NFL Draft and played professional football for the Paterson Panthers of the American Football League. A member of Nevada’s Team of the Century, Sinofsky went on to teach and coach in New Jersey.Â
