A three-time All-Big West Conference first-team selection at wide receiver, Geoff Noisy was the winner of Nevada’s Golden Helmet Award as team MVP in 1998 and was the Wolf Pack’s Offensive Player of the Year in 1996. He set the NCAA Division I-A record for career receptions with 295 (since broken) and still ranks eighth in the NCAA in career receptions. He fell just short of the all-time, all-division mark of 301 catches set by Jerry Rice after being hindered by a hamstring pull in his final three games and still ranks eighth in the NCAA in career receiving yards and 14th in career yards per game. He ranked third in the nation with 94 catches and 127.7 yards per game in 1998. Noisy ranks second in career receiving yards and receptions behind Nevada Hall of Fame inductee Trevor Insley and holds three of the top 10 single-season marks in school history for both receptions and receiving yards.
