Men’s Basketball (1993-95)
Earned first-team All-Big West honors in 1995 and second-team accolades in 1994… came to Nevada after two seasons at Dixie College… remains one of the most popular players in school history… averaged 11.2 points and 7.6 assists per game in his career… ranks second in school history in career assists per game, tied for third in career assists (438) and sixth in career assists (140) after just two seasons… tied the school record with 16 assists vs. UC Irvine in 1994… led the Big West and was fourth in the country with 227 assists in 1993-94… also led the Big West in steals that season (2.6)… went on to have a long professional career as an ambassador of the game, playing in 14 countries for the Harlem Globetrotters for 10 years and spending time with teams in Bratislava and Austria… has visited thousands of schools, inspiring children across the country… continues to give back to the northern Nevada community and now runs the Nevada Basketball Academy… briefly coached the Reno Sharpshooters, an ABA team… currently serves on the board of the Wolf Pack Athletic Association.
