Fresno, Calif. - Nevada Men's and Women's Cross Country wrapped up action at the 2025 Mountain West Cross Country Championships at Woodward Park in Fresno, California, Friday. Both the men's and women's teams finished in eighth place. 
In the men's 8k, the Pack placed 8th with 245 points, Austin Key led the way for the Wolf Pack, placing 51st with a time of 24:33.5. Eddie Yunker followed closely in 54th at 24:41.8, both securing top-55 finishes. Jett Leavitt in 65th, (25:17.4) and Soma Baligad in 70th, (25:25.9) rounded out the top-70 for Nevada.
Elijah Chavez placing 73rd, (25:40.3) and Jackson Hammons in 75th, (25:54.3) continued the Pack's strong showing, while Sergio Mazon in 80th, (26:25.3) and Pierce Simpkins in 82nd, (26:29.3) closed out the scoring with solid efforts.
In the women's 6k, the Wolf Pack placed 8th with 241 points. Madelyn Shipman led the Pack with a time of 21:39.1, earning a 53rd-place finish. Kylee Denver finished 55th with a time of 21:41.8 and following closely was Natalia Martino who placed 56th, (21:47.7).
Aubrey Thompson placed 61st, with a time of 21:56.7 and Natalie Roberts was right behind, running a personal best time of 21:59.4 to finish 62nd, the pair rounded out Nevada's top five, all finishing under 22 minutes.
Paulina Hultberg finished 79th, (22:33.9) and Skylar Bennett finished in 80th (22:34.6), the pair completed the team's lineup of finishers. 
In the women's standings, the Pack finished three places ahead of UNLV, earning Nevada three Silver State Series points.
