FRESHMAN (FALL 2025) – Raced in all six meets during the season… Opened with a 48th-place finish at the USF Invitational (25:33.3)… Ran a personal-best 24:56.1 placing 40th at the Kim Duyst Twilight… Finished 50th at the Willamette Invitational (24:56.1)… Placed 73rd at the Bronco Invitational with a time of 25:40.3… Competed at the Mountain West Championships, finishing 27th… Closed the season at the NCAA Mountain Regional with a 10K time of 36:13.6 for 116th place

PERSONAL - Son of Michael Chavez and Kristen Linck... Has a two sisters, Marlowe and Declan... Chose Nevada because he loved the Reno area along with the coaches and program... Sports hero is Ilia Topuria ... Enjoys watching sports, NBA, NFL, UFC, playing video games and hanging out with friends... Also recruited by South Carolina, K-state, Marquette, Memphis, Charleston, Queens... First-team all state Track & XC 2024 and 2025... Most memorable moment is winning the State Championships in cross country in his junior year.
