Salt Lake City, Utah - Nevada's Men's and Women's Cross Country teams are set to compete at the NCAA Mountain Regional Championships on Friday, November 14, hosted by the University of Utah at the Regional Athletic Complex in Salt Lake City. This meet is one of nine NCAA Division I regional championships and serves as the gateway to the NCAA National Championships.

The event will feature the Women's 6K race at 9:30 a.m. PT followed by the Men's 10K race at 10:30 a.m. PT. Live results will be available here, and the top two teams from each region, along with the top four individuals not on qualifying teams, will earn automatic bids to the NCAA Championships in Columbia, Missouri on November 22. Additional teams and individuals will be selected at-large.

The Mountain Region is widely regarded as the most competitive in the country, featuring perennial powerhouses such as New Mexico (No. 1 Men, No. 2 Women), Colorado, Northern Arizona, and BYU, all ranked nationally. Nevada enters the meet looking to build on its performance at the Mountain West Championships and improve on last year's regional finish, where the men placed 14th and the women 17th.

Leading the Pack this season is Austin Key, who climbed to No. 5 on Nevada's all-time list with an 8K time of 24:16.5, and Natalia Martino, who owns the team's top 6K mark at 21:10.0. Both will be key contributors as Nevada faces a deep and talented field.

Last season, Nevada saw strong individual efforts at regionals, including Daniel Sayo's 64th-place finish, the second-best by a Wolf Pack male since the program's reinstatement, and Ashley Boone's personal best in the women's race. The team aims to continue that upward trajectory in Salt Lake City.
