ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – After a successful first day of competition, the all-time marks and personal bests kept coming in the final day of the Don Kirby Elite Invitational.
Early in the morning, freshman Camrin Dolcini set a new Nevada all-time mark with her height of 3.82 meters in the pole vault. The mark puts her at eighth all-time at Nevada, passing Alicia Echevarria's 2011 mark of 3.80m. Her height will also put her at seventh in the Mountain West.
Some personal bests at the meet included sophomore Sarah Marske, who earned a time of 8.94 in the 60m hurdles. This time was good enough to beat her old personal best of 9.14 that she earned at the University of San Francisco. Removing the hurdles saw another personal best in the 60m dash. Junior Rayven Nealey earned a new personal best of 7.73. The time beating her old mark of 7.84.
Two Pack athletes just barely missed their personal best marks in the triple jump. Junior Maria Milani finished in 15th with a distance of 11.94m. This distance was just behind her fifth Nevada all-time mark of 12.06m. Nealey, who already earned a personal best, was just off beating her personal best of 11.93m with her 16th place distance of 11.88m.
The 4x400m relay team that consisted of junior Emily Costello, freshman Halyn Senegal, freshman Kylie Burton, and junior Carolyn Ross finished the meet in seventh with a time of 3:49.21. This time was just off the Nevada fifth all-time mark of 3:48.59.
The Nevada track team has now concluded the indoor regular season. The team will look to compete at the MW Indoor Championships in two weeks from Feb. 24-26.
