Stanford, Calif. - Nevada Track and Field competed at the Stanford Invitational and Mike Fanelli Track Classic, highlighted by
Annalies Kalma's double in the 200m and 400m.Â
On the track, Annalies Kalma delivered an outstanding day for the Wolf Pack, recording two event wins. Kalma captured the title in the 400m with a winning time of 52.73 before returning to claim first place in the 200m, crossing the line in 23.74. Nevada also saw solid performances in the 400m from Kylee Parsons, who placed 12th with a time of 55.89, and Malena Galvan, who finished 16th in 56.34.
The sprint events featured contributions from Vivian Groppe, who placed 19th in the 100m dash with a time of 12.17. Groppe also competed in the 200m, finishing 17th in 24.52 while setting a personal best. Parsons added another personal-best performance in the 200m, running 24.58 to place 21st.
In the hurdle events, Misa Holland represented Nevada in the 100m hurdles, crossing the line in 14.98 to place 20th.
Nevada's distance runners rounded out the meet with strong efforts. In the 5000m, Aubrey Thompson finished 87th with a time of 17:46.25, while Marina Renna followed in 123rd at 18:26.10. The 3000m steeplechase was led by Natalie Roberts, who placed 13th with a time of 10:55.64, while Paulina Hultberg finished 44th in 11:37.62.
Nevada will return tomorrow for the Cal Brutus Hamilton, Stanford Invitational and Mike Fanelli Track Classic.
