FIFTH YEAR OUTDOOR (2023) - Competed in six meets during the season... Qualified for the NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas in the 4x400m relay, placing 18th overall... Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary in the 200m, 400m, and the 4x400m relay... Placed 24th in the 400m, 18th in the 200m, and helped the 4x400m relay qualify 12th overall to the NCAA Championships for the first time in Nevada school history (3:33.85)... Won her first career Mountain West Individual title in the 200m (23.19) running the second-fastest time in school history, placed third in the 400m (52.97), helped the 4x100 relay earn a third-place finish with a time of 45.15, the second-fastest time in school history, and helped the 4x400m relay place second overall, dropping six seconds to break the school record in a time of 3:35.98 at the Outdoor Mountain West Championships... Placed seventh in the 800 meters with a time of 2:17.77 at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational... Ran season bests t in the 400-meter dash (54.18) and the 200 meters (24.93) at the Mt. Sac Relays Invitational... A part of the 4x100 meter relay that ran the second-fastest time in school history (45.30), ran season best times in the 400 meters (53.25) and the 200 meters (23.53) at the Fresno Invitational.
FIFTH YEAR INDOOR (2022-23) - Competed in four meets during the season... Broke her own school records in the 400m (twice) and the 200m at the MW Indoor Championships, running a time of 53.27 in the 400m final, placing second overall, and ran a time of 23.95 in the 200m, placing 9th overall, while also helping break the school record in the 4x400m relay for the second time this season in a time of 3:39.62, placing first for the first time ever in Nevada school history... Broke the school record in the 400m (54.06) at the Spokane Invitational and helped the 4x400 relay earn a third place finish (3:47.26) with teammates Halyn Senegal, Raegan Gorzeman, and Jasmine Harris... Ran a time of 55.42 in the 400 and was apart of the 4x400 relay that placed 11th overall (3:47.47) at the Texas Tech Open... Recorded a 24.11 in the 200 meter dash, finishing 19th, and a 7.68 in the 60 meter dash, placing 18th, and was a part of the 4x400 relay that broke the school record (3:43.96), placing 6th overall, at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational.
SENIOR OUTDOOR (2022) – Competed in eight meets during the season ... Qualified for NCAA West Preliminary in the 200m and 400m dash ... Earned two medals at the MW Championships ... She earned silver in the 200m dash with her personal best time of 23.30 ... Then earned bronze in the 400m dash with her time of 52.95 ... The time bettering her school record ... She was also a part of the 4x400m relay team that broke the school record with their time of 3:43.38 ... Also a part of the 4x100m relay team that moved to 8th all-time at Nevada with a time of 46.32 ... Earned a personal best in the 100m dash with a time of 11.61 ... Finished 28th in both the 200m (23.68) and 400m (54.03) at NCAA West Preliminary in Fayetteville, Ark., just missing a spot in the 200 finals by four-hundredths of a second ... Costello also earned 14 top-five finishes throughout the season.
SENIOR INDOOR (2022) – Competed in her first indoor season since 2020... Scored the team six combined points at the MW Championships ... Moved up to second all-time at Nevada in the 400m dash with her time of 54.75 at the Championships... The time also earned her team three points... She earned three more points in the 200m dash with her 6th place time of 24.22... Also was apart of the 4x400m relay team that also earned the team a point.
JUNIOR OUTDOOR (2021) – Had an outstanding outdoor season, which included six new Nevada all-time marks ... Broke the school record in the 400m dash with her time of 53.89 at the Mountain West Championships ... Moved to 2nd all-time in the 4x400m relay and won bronze at the MW Championships with her time of 3:44.17 ... Also moved to 10th all-time at the in the 4x400m relay at the Rice Twilight with a time of 3:46.52 ... Moved into second all-time in the 200m dash with her time of 23.83 at the West Coast Relays ... Also moved into 6th all-time in the 100m dash at the West Coast Relays with her time of 11.68 ... Finally moved to 5th all-time in the 4x100m relay at the Mountain West Championships.

SOPHOMORE OUTDOOR (2020) – Canceled due to COVID-19
SOPHOMORE INDOOR (2020) – Broke the school record in the 200m dash at the Boise State Challenge with a time of 24.06 ... Moved into 5th all-time at Nevada in the 400m dash with a time of 55.39 ... Her time of 55.39 won her the finals in that event at the Boise State Challenge ... Had two 2nd place finishes (60m dash & 200m dash) and one 1st place finish (4x400 relay) at the Ed Jacoby Invitational ... Finished in 8th place at the Mountain West Indoor Championship in the 200m dash with her time of 24.33.
FRESHMAN OUTDOOR (2019) – Improved her 200m and 400m times from her indoor season, setting respective personal records of 24.17 and 55.33 seconds … Scored in three different events at conference, taking seventh in the 400m, and being a part of the sixth-place 4x100m and fifth-place 4x400m relays … Contributed to the school-record-breaking 4x400m time of 3:43.95 … The previous 4x400m record had stood since 2000 … Sits in fourth all-time at Nevada in the 200m, fifth in the 400m and 10th in 100m.
FRESHMAN INDOOR (2018-19) – Moved into three different all-time lists as a true freshman … Her 60m time of 7.64 seconds is good for seventh all-time at Nevada, her 200m time of 24.53 seconds is good for sixth and her 400m time of 55.42 is good for fifth … Took sixth in the 400m at the Mountain West Indoor Conference Championships, and was a part of the 4x400m relay squad that took fifth with a time of 3:50.20.
HIGH SCHOOL – Attended Vista del Lago HS in Folsom, Calif. . . Four year track and field athlete... Scholar athlete (2016-2018)... Owns PRs of 55.61 in the 400m, 24.49 in the 200m and 12.04 in the 100m . . . Went to CIF State Championships three times in the 400m, finishing 7th in 2017 . . . Went to CIF State Championships once for the 200m... Was apart of the Athletic Training Club and the Vista Guitar Nation.
PERSONAL – Daughter of Elizabeth and Zane Costello . . . Was also recruited by the University of Colorado, Boulder, Long Beach State, Sacramento State, Fullerton, and UNLV . . . Chose Nevada because it felt like home, she liked the coaching staff, and it was close to home... Says her sports hero is Jenna Prandini... Most memorable experience in her career was the outdoor Mountain West Conference Championships in 2022... In her free time she is involved in Physical Therapy Tech at Nevada Physical Therapy, painting, playing guitar, hiking, and backpacking.
