SENIOR OUTDOOR (2024) - Competed in seven meets during the season ... Ran a time of 26.34 in the 200m and competed in the 400 meter hurdles at the Hornet Invitational (March 17) ... Placed 12th in the 400-meter hurdles and helped the Nevada 'C' 4x400m relay secure a ninth place finish (4:04.76) at the Aztec Invitational (March 23) ... Ran a time of 1:03.79 in the 400m hurdles at the Stanford Invitational (March 30) ... Ran in the 400H (1:02.65), placing 31st at the Bryan Clay Invitational and the 200 meters (25.83) at the Beach Invitational (April 13) ... Placed eighth in the 400H at the Fresno State Invite with a season best time of 1:02.23 (April 27) ... Finished 14th in the 400H at the Mountain West Championships (May 11). 

SENIOR INDOOR (2024) - Competed in three meets during the season ... Saw action in the 200 meters (27.65) and helped the Nevada 'B' 4x400 meter relay secure a third-place finish with a time of 3:52.47 at the UW Preview Invitational (Jan. 13) ... Ran a season best mark in the 200 meters (26.38) and competed in the 400 meters to place 41st while also helping the Nevada 'B' 4x400 relay place ninth overall at the Riverfront Invitational (Feb. 3) ... Ran a time of 1:39.57 in the 600 meters at the Don Kirby Invitational (Feb. 10). 

JUNIOR OUTDOOR (2023) - Competed in seven meets during the season... Placed 13th at the Outdoor Mountain West Championships in the 400H (1:02.57)... Ran a new season best in the 400 hurdles (1:02.53) at the Mt. Sac Relays Invitational.. Placed 21st in the 400 hurdles at the Aztec Invitational (1:03.85) ... Competed in the 400 hurdles at the Stanford Invitational (1:03.56) placing 14th ... Ran a 2:21.93 in the 800 meters, placing 13th at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational... Placed 33rd in the 400 hurdles at the Bryan Clay Invitational... Was a part of the Nevada 'B' 4x100 meter relay that finished eighth (48.12) and ran a time of 1:03.19 in the 400 hurdles placing 13th at the Fresno Invitational.

JUNIOR INDOOR (2022-23) - Competed in three meets during the season... Earned a 15th place finish in the 400m (59.55) at the Spokane Invitational... Ran a 26.30 in the 200m and was apart of the distance medley relay (12:26.32) that placed third overall at the Texas Tech Open... Finished in 22nd place in the 400m with a new PR of 57.75 and was a part of the distance medley relay that placed eighth with a time of 12:09.17, a new season best time at the indoor Mountain West Championships. 

SOPHOMORE OUTDOOR (2022) – Competed in seven meets during the season ... Was a part of the 4x400m relay team at the MW Championships that broke the school record with their time of 3:43.38 ... Earned a personal best time of 62.11 in the 400m hurdles at the Mt. Sac Relays ... Earned five top-10 finishes throughout the season ... Also earned personal bests of 58.79 in the 400m dash and 12.62 in the 100m dash. 

SOPHOMORE INDOOR (2022) – Competed in her first indoor season with the Pack ... Saw two 2nd place finishes throughout the season ... One during the Dr. MLK Invitational, where Burton finished in 2nd in the 200m dash with a time of 26.35 ... Also finished in 2nd at the WSU Invitational in the DMR ... Her personal bests during the season included 25.66 in the 200m dash and 59.08 in the 400m dash.

FRESHMAN OUTDOOR (2021) – Competed in seven meets during the regular season ... Finished in 1st at the Sacramento State Tri-Team Challenge in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:05.31 ... Earned a 4th place finish in the Mountain West Challenge in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:03.18 ... Earned a personal best and 3rd place finish at the Bobcat Invitational in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:02.77.

FRESHMAN INDOOR (2021) – Did not compete

HIGH SCHOOL – Went to Antelope HS in Antelope, California ... Competed in soccer and track ... Holds the school record for the 100m hurdles, 400m, the 400m hurdles, the 300m hurdles, and the 800m ... Was First-Team All League for soccer and track from 2017-2020 ... Won Section Championships in 2018 for the girls 800m ... Some personal bests include a time of 12.87 in the 100m, a time of 2:16.36 in the 800m, and a time of 56.49 in the 400m. 

PERSONAL – Born in Antelope, California ... Daughter of Brad and Jamie Burton ... Majoring in Secondary Education and Art with a minor in math... Father played football at Shasta College and Menlo College ... Has two older siblings Emily and Casey ... Chose Nevada because the school is beautiful, the coaches were very nice and encouraging, and the school is a short drive from home ... Recruited by Cal State Fullerton, University of Illinois Chicago, Aurora University, and Colorado State University ... Lists her sports heroes as Sydney McLaughlin and Alyson Felix... Most memorable event was when she won the section for the 800m her sophomore year ... Hobbies include create art, especially realism drawing and painting.
