STOCKTON, Calif. – Using a program-record 262 (-22) in the final round, the Nevada men's golf team captured its second consecutive win of the season at the Visit Stockton Pacific Invitational at Stockton Country Club.
This is the first time in program history the Wolf Pack has won back-to-back events, and is just the sixth season overall with multiple wins in a single year. The 40

A big part of the Pack's massive day came from 11

th place and leapt 16 spots to earn a runner-up finish, finishing at 12-under par, four shots behind individual winner Peter Kuest of BYU. Vrzich played an unbelievable round of golf on Saturday, making eight birdies, an eagle and no bogeys. He was 6-under par after his first six holes.
Not to be overshadowed was the play of junior
Sam Harned, who was in the hunt for the individual title all tournament long. Harned finished at a career-best 11-under par and earned a career-best third place finish. He shot a 67 for his final round, was 5-under through 13 holes, ran into a little bit of trouble, but birdied No. 17 and 18 to close out his round. Newcomer
Tony Gil posted his best finish as a member of the Pack with a tie for seventh place in the 90-player field. Gil notched rounds of 69, 66 and 72 for his outing and finished at 6-under.
Junior
Sam Meek recorded the second-best Wolf Pack round of the day, carding a 7-under 64, which ties his career low. Meek also made the biggest jump on the team, leaping 39 spots into a tie for 14
th. Meek eagled the par 5 second and added six birdies to his scorecard, including five on the back nine. Rounding out the list of Pack golfers is junior
