Golf Practice Facilities

Hidden Valley Country Club
Amid beautiful, mature trees and landscaping, Hidden Valley Country Club boasts fantastic views of the mountains and city lights of Reno, Nevada. Originally designed by Billy Bell, Jr. and redesigned by Mike Stark and Dick Bailey in 2001, the course at Hidden Valley is a regulation 18 hole playing field with a par of 72. From our back tees the course has an overall rating of 74.1 and a slope of 135.

Somersett Country Club
Somersett Golf & Country Club offers an 18-hole par 72 golf course that plays to 7,252 yards from its championship tees. Designed by Tom Kite working with Roy Bechtol and Randy Russell, the breathtaking course features seven lakes, 62 white sand bunkers, 400-foot wide landing areas, dramatic elevation changes and spectacular mountain views.

Montrêux Golf and Country Club
The par 72 PGA Championship golf course features a number of drops in elevation as it meanders 7,500 yards through towering pines and flowing streams—creating a serene and spectacular golf setting. The signature hole is the par 4 17th, featuring a 138-foot drop from the tee box to the fairway. Toiyabe Golf Club
Toiyabe Golf Club, nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada near Washoe Valley, Nevada, is a semi-private course designed by Robert Muir Graves.

Lakeridge Golf Course
Lakeridge is a premier semi-private golf course. The layout of this Robert Trent Jones, Sr. designed facility offers breathtaking views of Reno and the surrounding mountains. Our signature hole, number 15, is a world famous par 3 set high atop Lake Stanley to an enticing island green.

Wolf Run Golf Club
This Duncan Golf Management operated facility can challenge you whether you are a seasoned competitor or weekend warrior, every golfer will find an enjoyable round on the championship layout at Wolf Run Golf Club. The facilities include a practice putting green, beautiful new chipping green with patio seating and newly remodeled driving range with a 100-yard short game area to practice chips and sand shots.

Sierra Sage Golf Course
Located beneath the eastern slopes of Reno's Peavine Mountain, Sierra Sage Golf Course takes advantage of local topography and weather conditions to create a pure golf experience. Eighteen holes and walker-friendly, Sierra Sage is open year-round, weather permitting. Sierra Sage boasts one of the region's premier practice facilities with two short-game holes, two practice putting greens, and grass tee driving range.

Washoe Golf Course
Washoe creates a full golf experience that combines the peaceful serenity of beautiful landscapes with a true passion for the classic game of golf. The amenities are nice, but the real star of the show at Washoe Golf Course is the Reno golf layout. The course spans 18 championship holes with a varying set of tees to cater to players of all ages and skill levels. Play from the back tees spans 6,695 yards while a round from the front tees clocks in at a manageable 5,863 yards.

Gray's Crossing Golf Course
Gray's Crossing is a Peter Jacobsen designed championship golf course tucked away on a beautiful mountain meadow in the shadow of Mt. Rose.

Lahontan Golf Club
Lahontan Golf Club is a private, golf course located in Truckee, California, featuring a Tom Weiskopf-designed 18-hole championship course. Surrounded by the Sierra Nevada mountains, the course blends high alpine beauty with strategic play, offering a premier experience for golfers. Lahontan is typically used by the team as a course for qualifying.

Clear Creek 

Clear Creek Golf Course is a scenic 18-hole public course located in Carson City, Nevada, known for its panoramic mountain views and challenging layout. Clear Creek is typically used by the team as a course for qualifying.

Martis Camp

Martis Camp is an exclusive private community in Truckee, California, featuring a Tom Fazio designed 18-hole golf course renowned for for its stunning mountain vistas and immaculate conditions. 
 

Grizzly Ranch Golf Club
Grizzly Ranch Golf Club, located in Portola, California, is a semi-private course designed by Bob Cupp that offers a secluded, forested setting with dramatic elevation changes and pristine fairways. Consistently ranked among the top public courses in the Sierra Nevada. Another great qualifying course for the Pack.

Ramon Sessions Performance Center
The Ramon Sessions Performance Center is home to our men's and women's basketball practice facilities and the weight room and training facilities. The building was dedicated in the fall of 2017 with Wolf Pack star Ramon Sessions in attendance. Sessions (04-07) was the lead donor on the project, gifting the University of Nevada $1 million to make the project possible.

The weight and training portion of the building is home to all teams outside of football, providing state-of-the-art equipment in a newly renovated space. The room also features a nutrition center, giving our student-athletes all the tools they need to be successful.

Sports Medicine Center
The athletic training facility is a state-of-the-art, 5,175-square foot facility. The athletic trainers have access to some of the best technology available with a half-million-dollar aquatic therapy room with two in ground plunge pools and a multi-depth therapy and exercise pool capable of accommodating multiple athletes at the same time while working on separate rehabilitation programs. The facility also boasts a separate functional rehabilitation area, ice/wet room and storage facilities.
