Stanford, Calif. - Nevada continued play at The Goodwin, Friday, posting a 36 hole team total of 565 (+5) to sit 14th heading into the final round.

Riki Matsumoto and Jonathan Kim posted a pair of even-par 70's in the second round. Matsumoto showed great resilience in his round following an early double bogey with four birdies and two bogies for the rest of the round, he sits in 22nd place prior to the final round. Kim had a very similar round to that of Matsumoto, making a double bogey, two bogies and four birdies, two of those coming on the final two holes. Kim jumped 31 spots up the leaderboard to sit in 60th heading into round three. 

Ben Ortwein and Liam Gobin both posted one over-par rounds of 71 in round two. Ortwein got off to a hot start, rattling off birdies on holes one, five, six and seven, going out in two under-par 33 but struggled to maintain the momentum on the back nine, he sits in 39th place heading into the final round. Gobin had a solid bounce back round making two birdies offset by three bogies, he moved 20 places up the leaderboard and will look to make a similar push in the final round. 

Rounding out the Pack starting five was Monte Chumchaivate, who posted a round two 74 (+4). Chumchaivate struggled to get his scoring going in round two making just one birdie on the day, but he sits in decent position for a strong finish with a solid final round. 

The Pack will return for the final round of The Goodwin tomorrow at 8:05 a.m.
