Stanford, Calif. - Nevada Men's Golf concluded play at The Goodwin, Saturday, playing a solid final round to post a final team total of 848 (+8). The Pack beat six top 50 teams, a solid performance to build on as the program nears post season play. 

Monte Chumchaivate posted the best round of his collegiate career in the final round, shooting a two under-par 68 that included five birdies and three bogies. His impressive final round moved him 33 spots up the leaderboard, finishing in 50th at three over-par (71-74-68). 

Ben Ortwein was the next best performer for the Pack in the final round, posting an even-par round of 70 that included five birdies, three bogies and a double. Ortwein closed out a very solid tournament, moving up two places in the final round to finish in 37th at one over-par (70-71-70). 

Riki Matsumoto also closed out a very solid performance at The Goodwin, posting a final round 72 (+2). Matsumoto struggled to find his birdie making ability from the first two rounds, making two in the final round offset by two bogies and a double. Matsumoto placed 37th, finishing with a one over-par total (69-70-72). 

Jonathan Kim posted a final round of three over-par 73, making four birdies, but struggling to keep the bogies off the card. Kim played rounds of 73-70-73=216 to finish six over-par for the tournament and in 80th place. 

Rounding out the Pack starting five was Liam Gobin, who posted a final round four over-par 74, birdieing two of the five par three's, but struggling to keep bogies off the card. Gobin led the field in par 3 scoring playing them in an average of 2.8 for the tournament.

The Pack will return to action at the El Macero hosted by UC Davis, April 10-12, the last event of the regular season.
