PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – Led by senior
Grant Booth, the Nevada men's golf team move ahead one spot to eighth following round two of the Saint Mary's Invitational.
The Wolf Pack began the day tied for ninth in the 18-team field but jumped one spot on the leaderboard to sole possession of eighth after a team score of 281. The 281 is the third-lowest team score produced by the Wolf Pack this fall and was 3-under par for the round. The Pack now ranks ahead of No. 46 Arizona and No. 20 Santa Clara on the team leaderboard. No. 33 USC and No. 13 Stanford will duke it out for the team title on Wednesday as the Trojans lead the Cardinal by one shot.
Booth carded his fifth round of the season in the 60s with a 5-under 66 on Tuesday, moving him up 22 spots on the individual leaderboard and into a tie for 10
th. The birdies were dropping left and right for Booth as he totaled seven during his round. He played the front nine perfectly with three birdies and no bogeys. He trails Justin Suh of USC for the individual lead by six shots.
All of the Wolf Pack's counting scores on Tuesday were solid as none of the four were below a 1-over 72. Senior
Corey Eddings had a bounce back day as he shaved five strokes off of his score from round one to post the second-best Wolf Pack round of the day, an even par 71. His day was as balanced as balance gets, making four birdies to four bogeys. He enters the final round tied for 50
th in the 100-player field.

Kaleb Gorbahn and sophomore
Sam Harned each fired rounds of 72 for their second rounds. Like Booth and Eddings, Gorbahn and Harned did not record anything worse than bogey on their scorecards. Harned is currently in a tie for 40
th while Gorbahn is tied for 55
th. Freshman
Joey Vrzich shot a 75 on Tuesday and is tied for 44
th.
