Jonathan Kim posted an outstanding score of 65 in Wednesday's final round of the Palouse Collegiate at Palouse Ridge Golf Course, as Nevada Men's Golf closed out their season-opening event.Â
The Pack finished 14th in the 15 team field, finishing at +2 (283-284-287=854).
Kim's stunning final round included two eagles and four birdies, offset by two bogies. His great final round performance improved him to fifth position, a collegiate personal best. Next best was
Ben Ortwein, who struggled on the final day but finished at (+1) in a tie for 50th.Â
Liam Gobin finished in a tie for 61st, posting rounds of 71,72 and 73 for a total of +3. Following was Seelanagae, who finished tied for 81st at +10. Rounding out the starting five was
Ryan Sear who finished the tournament at +24.Â
Sloan Henggeler, competing as an individual, finished with a strong round of 70 to end the tournament at +8.Â
Nevada is back on the course in two weeks, in Washington, for the Husky Invitational from Sept. 23-24.
