Nevada moves up the leaderboard on day two of the Mountain West Championships

Creswell, Ore. - Nevada Men's Golf put on a great display of golf in Saturday's second round of the Credit Union 1 Mountain West Championships. All four counting scores for the Pack were under par, an achievement that the Pack hasn't had much of this season. The Pack posted a round two total of 278 (-10) placing them 6th at -11 (287-278=565).

The best round of the day for the Pack came from Supakit (Oak) Seelanagae, who posted a second round 68 (-4) that included five birdies offset by one bogey. Four front nine birdies helped provide a clean day for Seelanagae and he will be looking to post a low one tomorrow to creep into the top-five. He heads into tomorrow sitting in 13th.

Next best for the Pack was Ben Ortwein, who posted a three under-par 69 that included five birdies and two bogeys. Ortwein jumped 11 spots up to 24nd and will be looking for more of the same golf tomorrow. Liam Gobin cleaned up his card in the second round, carding just one bogey and making three birdies to shoot a two under-par 70. Gobin moved up six spots on the round into 29th place.

The final counting score for the Pack came from Aaron Leach, who posted the best round one score, posting his second consecutive under-par round, a one under-par 71. Leach made five birdies offset by four bogies on the day and sits in 19th heading into the final round.

Jonathan Kim was the final round in for the Pack, posting a one over-par 73 that included three birdies offset by four bogies. Kim will be looking for a red number tomorrow to contribute to the Pack's counting scores. Kim sits in 39th place prior to the final round.

The Pack will be back in action tomorrow for the final round of the Credit Union 1 Mountain West Men's Golf Championship.
