Palo Alto, Calif. - The Wolf Pack kicked off the first day of The Goodwin hosted by Stanford with 18 holes today, posting a 302 (+22) to sit in 29th. 

The best performer in the first round for the Wolf Pack was Liam Gobin, playing solid all day, but struggling late to post a 73 (+3). Gobin's round included two birdies but was offset by three bogies and a double. He sits in a tie for 73rd. 

Next best for the Wolf Pack was Ben Ortwein, who carded a +4 (74) that included two birdies four bogies and a double. Ortwein will look for more birdies tomorrow. He sits in 92nd. 

Aaron Leach started his round off solidly, making one birdie and one bogey on his outward nine but struggled on the inward nine, posting a +7 (77) to sit in 137th.

Rounding out the Pack were Supakit (Oak) Seelanagae and Jonathan Kim who both shot 78's (+8), they will look for cleaner cards in round two and both sit in 147th.
