Reno, Nev - Shot Put kicked off Day 2 at the Wolf Pack Classic hosted by Nevada at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center. Johanna Haas finished in 9th with a throw of 12.42, followed closely by Anne Schuch who placed 13th with a personal best throw of 12.12m. Valeria Paez-Rueda also set a personal best, with a throw of 11.61m. Rounding out the Pack in the Shot Put was Hazel Gaspaire who threw 8.50m to finish 21st. 

In the Triple Jump, Meekness Dogonyaro claimed the overall win with a jump of 12.93m, and Kaja Maltaric took 8th place with a jump of 11.72m.

For the High Jump, Lilly Urban set a personal record, clearing 1.53m to take 1st place in Flight One. Anne Schuch and Johanna Haas tied for 3rd place with jumps of 1.48 meters. In Flight Two Stina Larsson matched her PR clearing 1.63m to finish 7th, while Hazel Gaspaire continued her form, clearing 1.68m to finish in 4th. 

In the 400m, Jasmine Harris ran a personal best of 58.47 seconds to finish in 24th place, with Leylah Diaz following closely behind in 29th place with a time of 59.48 seconds, also a personal best. Caitlynn Holt ran 1:00.45 for 34th place, while Mckenzie Milton finished in 44h place with a time of 1:05.28. 

In the 800m, Mary DeMartini took 8th place with a time of 2:20.97.

Next up was the 200m, Magdalene George ran a strong 23.79 to secure 5th place, while Johanna Haas finished 16th with a time of 24.90. Natasha Chetty ran a personal best of 24.98 to finish 20th. Vivian Groppe crossed the line in 25.66 for 35th, followed by Valeria Paez-Rueda in 47th with a time of 26.49. Savana Chalmers ran 26.66, while Anne Schuch and Lilly Urban rounded out the results with times of 27.00 and 27.32, respectively.

The 3000m was next up and Claire Nelson ran very strongly with a PR 10:10.02 to place 3rd. Behind her were Natalie Roberts (10:45.65) and Aubrey Thompson (10:48.90) who finished in 4th and 5th respectively. 

Rounding out the day were the 4x400m races where Nevada A (Kalma, George, Harris, Diaz) ran a very strong race, running a 3:46.69 to place 4th. Behind them were Nevada B (Chetty, Haas, Paez-Rueda, Dogonyaro) Nevada C (Holt, Chalmers, Groppe, Milton) who ran a 3:56.83 and who ran a 4:00.34.

The Wolf Pack are back in action next week at the Don Kirby hosted by New Mexico, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
