RENO, Nev. - Nevada Track and Field athletes
Annalies Kalma and
Lilly Urban secured Mountain West Track Athlete and Field Athlete of the Week honors for the second consecutive week, the conference announced, Tuesday.
Annalies Kalma continued her hot spring form, placing third in the 400m at the LSU Alumni Gold, running a 51.87 to re-set her school record set at her last meet at the Mt. SAC Relays. Kalma's time ranks 26th nationally and is the best time in the Mountain West.
Lilly Urban remains undefeated in Javelin this season, following her victory at the LSU Alumni Gold. Urban won the event with a throw of 54.01m, winning by four meters. Urban's best mark this season of 56.60m is the best in the conference by three meters and she will look to earn a postseason bid in the final two weeks of the outdoor season, she sits 6th in the country at this time.
