CLOVIS, Calif. - Nevada Track and Field concluded regular season at the Fresno State Invitational, Saturday, highlighted by
Hazel Gaspaire in the high jump and the Pack's 4x100m.Â
The Wolf Pack opened the day with a standout performance in the 4x100m relay, as the quartet of Vivian Groppe, Annalies Kalma, Kylee Parsons, and George finished second with a time of 44.95. The performance ranks second all-time in Nevada program history.
Middle-distance athletes contributed solid finishes in the 1500m, led by Natalie Roberts, who placed seventh while setting a personal record of 4:42.60. Aubrey Thompson also recorded a personal best, finishing 12th in 4:48.00. Skylar Bennett finished 11th with a time of 4:46.80, and Paulina Hultberg placed 24th in 4:59.32.
In the hurdles, Misa Holland led Nevada in the 100m hurdles with an eighth-place finish at 14.64. Savana Chalmers followed in 13th with a time of 14.98, while Anne Schuch placed 16th in 16.31. The 400m hurdles produced multiple top-10 finishes, with Oke Gift Ovedje placing fifth in 1:02.40. Leylah Diaz finished sixth while setting a personal record of 1:02.70, followed by Caitlynn Holt in 10th at 1:06.60 and Jasmine Harris in 11th with a time of 1:08.61.
Sprint events saw Amaya Chapman compete in the 400m, finishing 17th in 1:00.17. In the 100m, Vivian Groppe placed 14th with a time of 12.11, while Kylee Parsons finished 15th in 12.19, tying her personal best. Mia Flowers recorded a time of 12.58 to finish 27th, and Caitlynn Holt placed 32nd in 13:46.
The 4x400m relay closed the track portion of the meet, with the team of Diaz, Harris, Chapman, and Groppe finishing fourth overall in a time of 3:58.01.
In the field events, Hazel Gaspaire delivered one of the top performances of the meet, winning the high jump with a personal-best clearance of 1.77 meters. The mark ranks seventh all-time in Nevada history. Stina Larsson added a seventh-place finish at 1.67m, while Mary Casserly finished 10th with a clearance of 1.57m. The pole vault featured a third-place finish from Alyssa Carson, who cleared 3.57m, followed by Paloma Baumert and Stella White, who tied with marks of 3.12m to place fifth and sixth, respectively.
The long jump saw Kaja Maltaric place fourth with a mark of 5.78 meters, while Anne Schuch finished sixth and recorded a personal best of 5.69m. In the javelin, Ava Dierolf added a fifth-place finish with a personal-best throw of 40.29 meters.
