JUNIOR OUTDOOR (2024) - Competed in six meets during the season... Placed 15th in the 3,000 meters (10:06.28) at the Hornet Invitational (March 16) ... Ran a new personal best time in the 3000m steeplechase (11:07.46) at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic (March 30) ... Competed in the Bryan Clay Invitational and Pacific Coast Invitational, running new personal record times in the 1500m in 4:39.39 and 11:03.27 in the 3000S (April 13) ... Placed ninth in the 1500m in a time of 4:39.60 at the Fresno State Invite (April 27) ... Recorded a 15th place finish in the 3000S with a time of 11:05.31 at the Mountain West Championships (May 11). 

JUNIOR INDOOR (2024) - Competed in one meet during the season ... Made her first appearance at the Riverfront Invitational where she ran a new personal record time in the mile (5:12.45) by seven seconds (Feb. 3). 

SOPHOMORE OUTDOOR (2023) - Competed in three meets during the season... Ran a new personal record in the 5000m with a time of 17:54.22 placing 14th overall at the Bob Larsen Distance Carnival... Placed ninth in the 1500m with a new personal record time of 4:41.92 at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational... Dropped 33 seconds to run a new personal record in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:12.22, placing sixth at the Fresno Invitational.

SOPHOMORE INDOOR (2022- 23) - Competed in two meets during the season... Ran a 10:38.98 in the 3000m at the Texas Tech Open... Was a part of the distance medley relay that placed eighth (12:09.17) and earned a new PR in the 3000m (10:28.73), placing 32nd at the indoor MW Championships. 

FRESHMAN OUTDOOR (2022) – Also competed in two meets during the season ... Had a 10th place finish in the 3000m steeplechase at the Fresno State Invitational with a time of 11:45.70 ... Also earned a time of 4:57.59 in the 1500m run.

FRESHMAN INDOOR (2022) – Competed in two meets during the season ... Best time in the mile run was 5:30.84 ... She earned this time at the Dr. MLK Invitational. 

HIGH SCHOOL - Went to Eagle River HS in Alaska ... Competed in track, cross country running, and cross country skiing ... Was apart of the 4x800m Relay State Champion team in 2018 and 2019 ... Was apart of the cross country Running State Team in 2017 and 2019 ... Was on the cross country Skiing State Championship Team for all four years ... Lastly was on the track and field State Team in 2018-19 and 2020

PERSONAL - Daughter of Scott and Cheryl Nelson ... Has an older brother named Ryan ... Majoring in biology ... Chose Nevada because she liked the coaches, school location, and the importance that the university places on academic success ... Also recruited by Baylor University, Michigan Technological University, Portland State University, University of Montana, and Harvard University for their ski team ... Sports heroes are Kikkan Randall and Courtney Frerichs ... Hobbies include Cross Country skiing, painting, pottery, mountain biking, and hiking.
