Baton Rouge, La. - Nevada Track and Field competed at the LSU Alumni Gold meet, Saturday, highlighted by another school record performance from Annalies Kalma in the 400m.Â
The jumps kicked off competition, led by Alma Kathan, who placed third in the long jump with a mark of 6.20 meters, ranking second all-time in program history. Kaja Maltaric also competed in the event, finishing 10th with a jump of 5.81m.
On the track, Annalies Kalma delivered a another historic performance in the 400m, finishing third with a time of 51.87 while setting a new Nevada school record for the second week in a row. The 800m featured a strong showing from the Wolf Pack, led by Malena Galvan, who placed second with a time of 2:09.36. Kylee Denver followed closely behind in third, recording a personal-best time of 2:09.69, the ninth fastest in Pack history, while Halyn Senegal finished eighth in 2:10.71.
The javelin once again proved to be a strength for Nevada. Lilly Urban remaining undefeated this season, claiming first place with a winning throw of 54.01 meters, while Hallee Hughes added a fourth-place finish at 48.60m.
The Pack will return to competition next week at Fresno State.
