Projected Lineup
Enrique Dimayuga
The No. 45 ranked golfer in the country and the second highest ranked golfer in the field this weekend, Dimayuga enters the Mountain West Championships on a sensational stretch of play that includes three consecutive individual titles throughout April.Â
Dimayuga has rewritten the Wolf Pack record books, as he is the first golfer in program history to win three consecutive titles, as well as the first to win three titles in a single season. Dimayuga is also now one of two golfers in program history to win three titles throughout their career, and the senior from London, England accomplished that feat in a span of 13 days.Â
Dimayuga's incredible streak began with the first individual title of his career at the UCSB Gaucho Invitational, where he recorded the eighth-best 54-hole score in program history to earn the first-place finish and help lead Nevada to their first team title since Fall 2021. Dimayuga maintained his exceptional play at the El Macero Classic a few days later, as he carded the third best single round score in Nevada Men's Golf history with a 64 (-8) in the final round to earn his second consecutive title. This past week, Dimayuga secured his third straight title at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate, as he enters the Mountain West Championships with his sights set on a fourth consecutive Championship.Â
Liam Gobin
Gobin has been playing his best golf of the season as of late, earning a career-best finish of tied for eighth at the Gaucho Invitational after completing the event at -6, before finishing tied for 48th at the El Macero Classic.Â
Gobin has competed in all six events for the Pack this spring, earning four top-25 finishes. The junior has an adjusted scoring average of 73.3 throughout the season and will aim to secure another impressive finish and help Nevada win a Mountain West Championship.Â
Tom Patterson
Patterson enters what could be the final tournament of his collegiate career, and the senior has had his best season yet for the Pack in his final year of eligibility. Patterson had an exceptional performance earlier this month, finishing tied for fourth at the Gaucho Invitational, marking the best finish of his career. Patterson carded three consecutive rounds below par to complete the event at -8 en route to the top-five finish. Patterson has three top-25 finishes this season and will seek to potentially close out his collegiate career on an exceptional note at the Mountain West Championships.Â
Jonathan Kim
Kim has put together one of the most impressive freshman campaigns in recent program history. In eight events this season, Kim has an adjusted scoring average of 72.9 and he has three top-25 finishes. He is coming off one of the most complete performances of his young career, finishing tied for 22nd at the El Macero Classic with a 54-hole score of 223 (+7). Kim has consistently made an impact for the Pack this season and will aim to put together another solid outing in his first appearance at the Mountain West Championships.Â
