RENO, Nev. - Nevada football and Nevada volleyball take on in-state rival UNLV in the Silver State Series presented by America First Credit Union this week. Nevada soccer looks to continue its quest for a spot in the Mountain West Tournament with a pair of home matches at Mackay Stadium.

Soccer
Nevada soccer hosts New Mexico Thursday at 7 p.m. and San Diego State Sunday at 1 p.m. at Mackay Stadium. The Pack are coming off a huge road win at Air Force 1-0, giving them sole possession of fourth place in the Mountain West standings with 10 points. Fifth year midfielder

Thursday's match is Kick Out Cancer/Pack Goes Pink Night, where first 100 fans will receive a free Wolf Pack pink flag. Sunday's match is the 150th Anniversary Match/Alumni Weekend, with the first 250 fans receiving an exclusive University of Nevada 150th Anniversary soccer scarf. Kicking off the 150th Anniversary, Nevada volleyball returns to Virginia Street Gym Thursday, Oct. 12 at 6 p.m., taking on in-state rival UNLV, a matchup

Cross Country
Nevada men's and women's cross country head to Riverside, California for the UCR Highlander Invitational Saturday, Oct. 14. The men begin the day at 8 a.m. with the 8K, followed by the women who will compete in the 6K at 8:40 a.m. This is the last meet before the squads head to the Mountain West Championships on Oct. 27, hosted by Boise State. Last time out, the Pack hosted the Mountain Regional Preview at Washoe County Golf Course on September 18. Daniel Sayo and Claire Nelson each secured firs place finishes for the Pack in the men's 10K and the women's 6K.

Softball
The Pack hits the road to wrap up the fall ball season. The Pack tied Pacific 8-8 last Saturday and capitalized on a big 22-0 win against Folsom Lake Community College last Sunday. The Pack will face Pac-12 competition Saturday when they face the California Golden Bears.

Women's Tennis
Nevada travels to Salt Lake City for the ITA Mountain Regional Championships beginning Wednesday, Oct. 18 and runs through Sunday, Oct. 22. The Wolf Pack will look to continue the success they've had throughout the fall season. Six members of the Pack will make the trip to Utah.
