EWA BEACH, Hawai'I – After one round of play at the Hoakalei CC Invitational, the Nevada men's golf team sits in fourth place.
The Wolf Pack was one of just eight teams in the 20-team field to post a round under par on Monday. Nevada combined for a team score of 284, which puts it at 4-under par for the tournament with 36 holes remaining. No. 41 Ole Miss leads the field at 18-under par, but is followed closely by No. 32 East Tennessee State, which is 12-under.
Nevada had three of its five players post rounds under par, led by sophomore
Trey Davis. Davis fired a 3-under par round of 69 and is currently tied for seventh in the 114-player field. Davis played a flawless round of golf on Monday, recording the first bogey-free round of his collegiate career. He is four shots back of Charlie Miller of Ole Miss for the individual lead.

Sam Harned and
Tony Gil also notched under par rounds, each shooting a 1-under 71. Both Harned and Gil enter Tuesday's second round tied for 25
th. Harned had a double bogey on the front nine, but rebounded nicely with three birdies in his final nine holes. Gil also collected three birdies in his round. Senior

Peyton Callens are both tied for 49
th place after they each carded 1-over rounds of 73.
