RENO, Nev. – The Nevada volleyball is seeking to end a five-game skid this Saturday as it takes on San Diego State in Virginia Street Gym. The match is set for Oct. 20th at 1:00 p.m. PT.
This match marks the annual Pink Game and fans are encouraged to wear pink for free admission. The Pack has also partnered with the Side Out Foundation with a goal to raise $500 for Breast Cancer Research, fans can donate

Nevada recently fell to the Mountain West No. 1 team, Fresno State, 3-1 on Thursday evening at Virginia Street Gym and are hoping to bounce back. San Diego State enters the gym 6-16 overall and 4-5 in conference play. The Aztecs most recently dropped a five-set match to San Jose State, 3-2.
On Thursday evening, sophomore outside hitter
Kayla Afoa posted her 11th double-double on the season with 18 kills officially and 16 digs, while
Shiloh Peleras tallied four blocks on the night.
Looking at San Diego State, coming off a loss to San Jose State, they will be eager for a road win. The Aztecs are sitting at 2-4 in road contests with the two wins coming against Boise State and Utah State.
The Aztecs sit atop of the leaderboards in total kills within Mountain West with 1091 while also being ranked No. 21 in the nation. The Pack is still holding strong to the second place spot in team digs while the Fresno State Bulldogs take the top spot.
This match is a necessary win for Nevada as they go back on the road with contests against Boise State and Utah State in their respective arenas.
The Pack play at Boise State on Oct. 25 at 6:30 p.m. PT and at Utah State in Logan, Utah on Oct. 27 at 6:30 p.m. PT. Both matches will be aired on the Mountain West Network.
