Box Score ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico - Nevada volleyball began its two-game road trip at New Mexico on Thursday night, falling in straight sets to the Lobos.
The Pack struggled out of the gate with four straight points going to the Lobos to start. Nevada played from behind through the entire first, unable to gain enough momentum to overtake New Mexico, dropping the opener, 25-14.
Nevada began the second set with the first two points, with a kill by 
Audrey Jensen, followed by a block by 
Bella Snyder. The Pack were unable to hold onto the lead as the Lobos tied it and jumped in front. 
Like the first, Nevada found itself down by as much as 11. The Pack ultimately dropped the second with the same score as the first. 
The third was the closest of the sets, with Nevada never trailing by more than four and even having the advantage multiple times. 
In the middle of the third, the Pack went on a 4-0 scoring run that started and ended with kills by 
Jess Walkenhorst. Despite getting their largest lead of the match, going up by three, the Pack couldn't keep the momentum as the Lobos went back in front. Nevada clawed its way back to within two late in the set, but fell, 25-21.
Haylee Brown led the Pack in kills with 11, while Jensen led in assists with 16
Nevada will stay on the road to face Grand Canyon on Saturday at 2 PM.
