Sacramento, Calif. - Nevada Women's Golf returned to competition, Monday, playing a 36 hole day one of the 2026 Causeway Invitational, posting a team total of 610 (+34) to sit in 10th place.
Nicole (Coco) Kolbas led the way for the Wolf Pack on day one, posting a 36 hole total of 149 (76-73) (+5) placing her in a tie for 23rd. Kolbas did a fine job keeping big scores of her card in both the first and second rounds, tallying four birdies and not making worse than bogey. Kolbas will look to creep her way into the top 20 in tomorrow's final round.
Gabby Kano held the next best 36 hole total for the Pack, posting a two round total of nine over-par (75-78=153). Kano played a solid first round, making two birdies, but struggled to keep her form up in round two, not carding a birdie. Kano will look to keep bogies off the card in round three to make a move up the leaderboard.
Anna Shultse sits as the third best position, posting a 36 round total of ten over-par 154 (79-75). Shultse had a solid bounce back second round, carding three birdies, two of those coming in her final three holes. Shultse is in 48th place heading into the final round.
In 56th and 57th place sit
Marina Nonaka at thirteen over-par (80-77=157) and
Hannah Stouder at fourteen over-par (83-75=158). Nonaka has kept worse than bogey off the card so far through two rounds but will look for more red on the card tomorrow. Stouder made two birdies in round two, and will look for more firepower tomorrow.
On the individual side,
Amy Na struggled on day one, posting a two round total of +32. She will look for more improvement tomorrow as she concludes the tournament.
The Pack will return tomorrow for round three to conclude the 2026 Causeway Invitational.
