Palm Desert, Calif. - Nevada Women's Golf continued their winning ways on Tuesday, beating Utah Valley in dominating fashion to make it to the final of the Mountain Classic Match Play final.
Marina Nonaka had the best win out of the Pack women's golfers in the semi-final, dominating all round, winning 8&7, making three birdies, not dropping a single hole in the whole round.
Gabby Kano had the second biggest margin of victory in the semi-final, making three birdies, two of them coming in the last four holes to close the match out 4&3. The third win came from
Anna Shultse who had a back and forth battle, birdieing two of her last five holes to close out the match 2&1.
Coco Kolbas tied her match with Utah Valley's Pati Uluave, fighting back from two down with three to play, birdieing her final hole to clutch a half point.
Hannah Stouder played a very solid match, battling all day with her opponent Alyssa Butterfus, a match that included seven birdies, two of them coming from Stouder. Stouder's opponent made a clutch birdie up the last to close out the match 1up.
Nevada will play Montana State in the final tomorrow as the Pack look for their first tournament win since 2023.
