Reno, Nev. - Nevada Women's Golf kicked off their 2025-26 campaign with an opening team total of 293 (+5) to sit in 8th place.
Leading the way for the Pack was
Anna Shultse who fired an opening round 71 (-1) that included four birdies offset by three bogies. She sits in a tie for 9th heading into round two.
Coco Kolbas was next best for the Pack on day one, kicking off the tournament with a round of even-par 72. Kolbas' card was relatively clean, posting two birdies on the day, offset by two bogies. Kolbas sits in a tie for 17th after the opening round.
Gabby Kano was the third best counting score for the Pack, posting a one over-par 73 that included two birdies and three bogies. Kano heads into tomorrow's second round in 27th place.
Marina Nonaka was the final counting score for the Wolf Pack starting five, posting a five over-par 77 on day one. Nonaka's round was highlighted by three birdies, but she will look for a slightly cleaner card in tomorrow's second round. She sits in 57th heading into round two.
Rounding out the Pack's round one scores was
Nikki Chindavong, who posted a seven over-par 79 that included two birdies. Chindavong will look for a cleaner card tomorrow, heading into tomorrow's second round in 73rd.
The Pack will be back in action tomorrow for round two, looking to creep nearer to the top of the leaderboard.
