Nevada Track and Field concluded competition at the OSU High Performance and the Fresno State Invitational Saturday.
Nevada Track and Field closed out another strong weekend of competition with standout performances at the OSU High Performance and Fresno State Invitational meets.
At OSU High Performance, Kylee Denver led the 800m squad with a third-place finish in 2:12.56. Madelyn Shipman clocked a personal-best 2:14.29 to place 12th, followed by Mary DeMartini in 18th at 2:15.33.
Down in Fresno, the Wolf Pack's 4x100m relay team of Kylee Parsons, Annalies Kalma, Vivian Groppe, and Jasmine Harris posted a 46.02 to take 4th and move to No. 8 on Nevada's all-time list.
In the 100m hurdles, Johanna Haas took second in 13.81, ranking No. 9 all-time for the Pack. Four other hurdlers set personal bests: Misa Holland (14.39), Savana Chalmers (14.59), Valeria Paez-Rueda (14.64), and Alma Kathan (14.95).
The 400m featured a flurry of fast times, with Parsons placing 5th in 54.72 to move to No. 6 in program history. Magdalene George followed in 55.78, while Chetty (57.33), Harris (57.77), and Dogonyaro (1:02.15) each recorded personal bests.
Vivian Groppe posted a new best in the 100m at 11.91, good for 5th overall. In the 800m, Halyn Senegal placed 2nd in 2:10.74.
In the 400m hurdles, Caitlynn Holt placed 10th in 1:04.12.
The 200m saw a series of PRs as Kalma placed fourth in 23.73, followed by Chetty (24.53), Groppe (24.54), and Haas (24.62), all setting personal bests.
The 4x400m relay team of Parsons, Kalma, Harris, and Groppe finished fifth in 3:43.02, the No. 7 time in Nevada history.
In the field events, Lilly Urban won the Javelin with a 51.34m throw, while Izzy Steerman took 2nd with a personal-best 46.42m. Johanna Haas (36.83m), Valeria Paez-Rueda (34.92m), and Mary Casserly (31.68m) rounded out the field.
Alyssa Carson cleared a personal-best 3.54m in the pole vault to place third, and Natalie Hobbs followed in seventh at 3.09m.
In the high jump, Hazel Gaspaire placed 3rd at 1.68m, followed by Valeria Paez-Rueda (1.63m), Mary Casserly and Stina Larsson (1.58m), and Johanna Haas (1.53m).
With multiple PRs and top-10 program marks, the Pack continues to build momentum as the postseason approaches.
