JUNIOR OUTDOOR (2024) - Competed in five meets during the season ... Placed 31st in the 1500m dropping four seconds for a new personal record time of 4:45.50 at the Hornet Invitational (March 16) ... Ran in the 1500m (4:55.37) and saw a new personal record mark in the 800m (2:19.66) at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic (March 30) ... Saw two new personal records in the 1500m (4:41.21) and the 800m (2:18.20) at the Bryan Clay Invitational (April 13) ... Saw a fifth place finish in the 1500m with a new personal record time of 4:36.46 at the Fresno State Invite (April 27) ... Earned a 13th place finish in the 1,500M with a time of 4:41.73 at the Mountain West Championships (May 11).
JUNIOR INDOOR (2024) - Did not compete.
SOPHOMORE OUTDOOR (2023) - Competed in four meets during the season... Placed 15th in the 3000m steeplechase (11:48.83) at the Outdoor Mountain West Championships. Ran a new personal record in the 3000m steeplechase (11:33.44) placing 7th overall at the Bob Larsen Distance Carnival... Placed second in the 3000m steeplechase with a new personal record of 11:14.99 at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational... Ran a time of 11:30.17 in the 3000 meter steeplechase at the Fresno Invitational.
SOPHOMORE INDOOR (2022-23) - Competed in two meets during the season... Made her mile debut at the Texas Tech Open, running a time of 5:25.78, placing 18th... Earned a new personal record in the mile with a time of 5:24.54, placing 21st at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational.
FRESHMAN OUTDOOR (2022) – Competed in four meets during the season ... Best time in the 1500m run was 4:49.70 that she earned at the Mike Fanelli Classic ... Had best times of 7:49.16 in the 2000m steeplechase and 11:39.22 in the 3000m steeplechase ... Had two top-10 finishes.
FRESHMAN INDOOR (2022) – Did not compete.
HIGH SCHOOL - Went to Robert's McQueen HS ... Competed in track, cross country, and soccer ... Regional champion in track and field in both 2018-19 ... First team all-state in the women’s 1600m in 2019 ... First team all-region in women’s cross country in 2021 ... Personal bests include a time of 5:10 in the 1600m and a time of 2:23 in the 800m
PERSONAL - Daughter of Johnathan and Hilary Shipman ... Has a twin brother named Sean ... Chose Nevada because she didn't want to leave Tahoe, and the team and coaches were a great fit for her ... Hobbies include working part time at the PT clinic Battle Born Health, and also coaching children ages 18 months to 10 years in soccer.
