RENO, Nev. – Nevada Softball notched three players on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
Haley Painter,
Hailey McLean, and
Aaliyah Jenkins.

Painter (Public Health, 3.774) was second on the team in home runs (15), doubles (14), total bases (112), slugging percentage (.683), and walks (28). Painter makes back-to-back appearances on the Academic All-District Team, being honored in 2024.

McLean (Veterinary Science, 3.760) led the Pack in ERA (2.62), wins (17), appearances (34), saves (4), strikeouts (149), and opponent batting average (.202)

Jenkins (Kinesiology, 3.554) was the Mountain West Player of the Year and a D1Softball All-American. Jenkins led the Wolf Pack in every major hitting category.

McLean and Jenkins were also noted as nominees for the CSC Academic All-America Team, which will be released on June 17 at 9 a.m. PT.

CSC awards athletes for their great performance on the field and in the classroom. To be eligible, athletes must hold a sophomore standing athletically and academically with a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Athletes must compete in 90% of a team's games played or start in at least 66% of games. Pitcher must have made at least 17 appearances or pitched 35 innings.
