Sacramento, Calif. - The Nevada Track and Field team had many join top-10 all-time lists and Lilly Urban broke the Javelin school record on day one of the Hornet Invitational, hosted by Sacramento State.

Lilly Urban was the top performer on day one of the Hornet Invitational, dominating the javelin field, throwing 52.56m to set a new Nevada school record. Izzy Steerman also competed, finishing 4th with a throw 44.43m. 

Alyssa Carson was the sole Wolf Pack competitor in the pole vault, clearing 3.53m to finish in 5th. 

Triple Jump also only had one competitor, with Kaja Maltaric securing fifth place with a mark of 12.12m, placing herself 10th all-time in school history. 

Caitlynn Holt was the spearhead for the Pack in the 400m Hurdles, running a time of 1:04.24 to finish in 16th. Leylah Diaz and Meekness Dogonyaro rounded out the Pack times, running 1:05.02 (20th) and 1:06.17 (24th) respectively. 

The 800m saw Annalies Kalma set the eighth fastest time in program history, running a 2:09.71 to place third, while Kylee Denver finished in 6th with a time of 2:10.23, securing the 10th fastest time in Wolf Pack history. Mary DeMartini rounded out the event in 14th with a time of 2:14.52.

Magdalene George kept up her form this spring with a time of 23.58 in the 200m to finish in 3rd. Vivian Groppe was next best, finishing in 29th with a time of 25.10, while Alma Kathan (25.76), Jasmine Harris (25.90), and Valeria Paez-Rueda (26.83) rounded out the Pack's representation in the 200m.

In the 5000m, Claire Nelson ran 16:47.44 to finish 6th recording the 7th best time in Nevada history.

The Pack is back tomorrow for day two of the Hornet Invitational, starting at 10a.m.
