Las Cruces, N.M. - Nevada Women's Golf kicked off play at the 2025 Golf Iconic Classic Monday, posting a team total of +8 (226) to sit in 15th after round one. Nevada placed second in the field for pars, a positive for the Pack to take from round one. 

Coco Kolbas was the leader of the Pack in round one, posting a clean round of two under-par 70. Kolbas made three birdies offset by one bogey, and heads into round two with plenty of momentum in 13th place.

Next best for the Wolf Pack was Gabby Kano, who posted a two over-par 74 that included one birdie and three bogies. Plenty of pars on the card, Kano will look for more birdies as she heads into tomorrow's second round in 53rd. 

Tied at four over-par were Anna Shultse and Nikki Chindavong, both sitting in a tie for 77th. Shultse's round included four bogies, with no birdies, whilst Chindavong made one birdie on the day, offset by five bogies. Both will look for more birdies tomorrow. 

Rounding out the Pack's scores was Marina Nonaka, who posted a six over-par 78, highlighted by one birdie. Nonaka sits in 94th heading into round two. 

The Pack did not make worse than a bogey in round one and were second best in the field for pars, they head into tomorrow's second round with momentum, hoping to make some more birdies.
