Box Score FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Nevada Volleyball faced a tough challenge against Colorado State, falling in a three-set match (13-25, 20-25, 17-25) at the Moby Arena. The loss drops Nevada's overall record to 12-16 and 5-12 in Mountain West play.
In the opening set, Nevada faced a challenge from Colorado State's dynamic offense, which kept the Pack on their heels. Nevada struggled to establish momentum, and the Rams capitalized on their consistency to claim the set decisively, 25-13.
Nevada showed resilience in the second set, when Gabby McLaughlin and Sia Liilii started heating up offensively. The Pack pushed late into the set with McKenna Dressel adding defensive blocks to close the gap. Despite their efforts, the Rams held on to win the set 25-20.
The third set saw improved teamwork from the Pack, led by setter Tehya Maeva, who notched nine assists in the frame. However, Colorado State's timely defense closed out the set 25-17, securing the match.
McLaughlin led the Wolf Pack with 12 kills and five digs, while Liilii and Carissa Chainey added seven and five kills. Maeva paced the offense with 20 assists and added eight digs, while libero Kinsley Singleton was right behind her with seven.
Nevada will wrap up their regular season on Saturday with a road match against Wyoming.
