RENO, Nev. – Nevada men's cross country welcomes Washington native Jaedyn Chase to the team for the 2023 season, as announced Thursday.
 
"We are excited Jaedyn committed to Nevada. He improved tremendously his senior year slashing 23 seconds off his 1600 and 30 off his 3200 on the track. It will be fun to see what he can accomplish."
 
Chase joins the Pack as a dual athlete with experience in both cross country and track and field. During the cross country season, Chase recorded a personal record time of 15:55 in the 5K at the Nike Hole in the Wall Invitational. This track season, Chase became the 2023 WIAA 4A state champion in the 3200 meters, seeing a new personal record time (9:17.88), as well as running a new personal record in the 1600 meters at the Sea-King District 2 Championships (4:16.36).
 
As the fourth addition, Chase will be joining fellow signees Zachary Walsh, Eddie Yunker, and Dillon Walker.
