GIRDWOOD, Alaska – Nevada skiing began day one of the RMISA Championships Wednesday afternoon with
Honor Clissold and
Georgie Sullivan highlighting the day with their top 20 finishes in the giant slalom.

Clissold finished in 13
th, with an overall time of 1:43.84, while Sullivan finished 19
th, with a 1:45.44. Clissold's second run effort of 53.30 was 12
th fastest in the field, Sullivan's second run of 54.05 being 18
th fastest in the field.
Sixtine Piccard came in next for the Pack, finishing just outside the top 20 in 22
nd place with an overall time of 1:46.27.
Elle Murphy placed 30
th in 1:50.63. The women finished in fourth place in the overall team scores, while as a team, Nevada finished seventh.Â

For the Nevada men,
Ibon Mintegui recorded the highest finish for the Pack with an overall time of 1:38.06, placing 30
th. Andreas Smith finished just behind Mintegui in 32
nd, with a 1:38.81.

The Pack continues competition tomorrow with the second and final day of the Alaska Anchorage Invitational before wrapping up the RMISA Championships Friday, February 24.
