PARK CITY, Utah -Â
Erica Lynch finished seventh in the slalom Friday at the 2026 National Collegiate Skiing Championships to become Nevada's first All-American since 2010.
The top-five finishers are awarded first-team All-America status, with places 6-10 named All-America second-teamers.
Lynch is Nevada's first skiing All-American since Maria Grafnings (15K freestyle, 5K classical) and Charles Smith (10K classical) in 2010, and the first alpine skier to earn All-America honors since Greg Berger-Sabbatel (2009, slalom & giant slalom) on the men's side and Katie Lyons (2008, slalom).
Lynch was in 10th place after a first run of 47.04 Friday. Her second run time of 49.59 caught a handful of those in front of her, allowing her to climb three spots and finish seventh in 1:36.63.
Sophia Falter also earned key points for the Wolf Pack, coming in 22nd with a time of 1:39.06.
On the men's side,
Pietro Bisello topped the Pack trio with a 13th-place finish. Bisello was in 21st after the opening run, but blazed to the field's fifth-fastest second run in 44.85 to rise eight spots with a final combined time of 1:35.95.
David Morken completed both runs to earn points for Nevada, coming in 27th in 1:41.67.
Peyton Wells was in 13th after the first run with a time of 50.11, but did not finish the second run.
Friday's points earned brought Nevada into 10th place with 107 points. The Wolf Pack, through with the competition, will learn its final national finish following Saturday's Nordic finale.
