2026 National Collegiate Skiing Championships

PARK CITY, Utah -Â Nevada Skiing wrapped the first day of competition at the 2026 National Collegiate Championships in eighth place at Utah Olympic Park. The Wolf Pack earned 51 points based on individual finishes in the Giant Slalom races.
The women's races opened the day, with
Erica Lynch and
Sophia Falter representing the Wolf Pack. Falter, in 19th place after the first run, came back with the field's third-fastest second run (1:00.50) to climb five spots to finish 14th and earn the Pack 17 points with a combined time of 2:07.21. Lynch was one of five skiers to not complete the first run.
All three men's skiers completed both runs to earn places and key points for Nevada. The trio was led by
David Morken in 16th with a time of 1:57.23, with
Pietro Bisello right behind him in 17th at 1:57.35.
Peyton Wells finished 26th in 1:58.58 to round out Nevada's 34 points on the men's side.
Colorado leads the team standings after day one with 137 points, followed by Utah with 133.
Nevada's quintet competes in the Slalom competition Friday morning to wrap its action at the meet.
