SENIOR SEASON (2022-23) - Competed in 4 races this season... Posted fourth and 13th place finishes in the giant slalom races (2:14.72) and (2:10.13) at the Western Region Elite... Recorded a first run effort of 48.08 in the slalom at the Denver Invitational... Placed 26th in giant slalom at the Alaska Anchorage Invitational... Earned a 30th place finish in giant slalom and 36th in slalom at the RMISA Championships.

PRIOR TO NEVADA - Began his collegiate career at the Univeristy of Nevada, Lake Tahoe... Became the 2022 USCSA National champion with his team in giant slalom, slalom, in the team event, and overall. 

HIGH SCHOOL - Attended IES domingo Miral in Jaca, Spain... Was the U18 Spanish champion and the U21 Spanish champion. 

PERSONAL - Son of Jose Antonio Mintegui and Iciar Rivera... Has one brother Ander... Chose Nevada because of the addition of Sierra Nevada Univeristy to UNR and to ski... Was being recruited by Rocky Mountain College and Plymouth... Sports hero is Rafael Nadal... Most memorable experience in his career was going to the University Games in Russia in 2019... Enjoys outside activities like running, hiking, and biking in his free time.
